The overall sheet is 12″ x 12″ (1 sq. foot) and can be used many times. This material can stretch around your painting piece for a nice tight fit against the sides of the lure or item being painted. This fabric is not just soft (to prevent scratching) but it is extra stretchy to fit the contours of your piece.

Hard to find a small mesh like his with enough substance to not get lost in the paint. Like for instance some tulle, same size but the material is so thin once you put paint on you don’t see the scale pattern you were trying to make. I really like this scale mesh a lot.
